Tyson Carr
Co-Owner, Lead Fabricator, Racing Crew, Chief/Consultant/Tuner
Tyson was basically born at the race track as his dad had been racing top alcohol dragsters since he was 16. Racing has played a large role in Tyson’s upbringing and in their family, as Tyson too started racing early in a junior dragster when he was just 8 years old. Tyson hasn’t left the track since.
After attending college for Auto Mechanics, Tyson quickly realized his passion and talent was for performance work and racing, beyond general automotive work. Tyson was lucky enough to secure employment at a well known race car business locally for 12 years prior to branching out and starting Eighty-Seven Motorsports.
Nelson Huber
Co-Owner, Lead Powersports Tech
Nelson was born and raised in the small community of Joe Rich, in Kelowna, BC, where he was able to ride from his doorstep. From backcountry snowmobiling to ATVing and dirt biking, he lives and breathes the passion of powersports.
Nelson is an ITA Certified Outdoor Power Equipment Technician with over 16 years of experience in the powersports field prior to starting Eighty-Seven Motorsports.
Nelson specializes in BRP products – Can-Am ATV, Can-Am Side-by-Side (SxS, UTV), Ski-Doo snowmobiles, and Sea-Doo watercraft.
Dustin Sutherland
Co-Owner, Shop Support
Growing up in Kelowna, Dustin has had a love for all things motorsports.
Dustin has helped build, maintain, and race various vehicles and machines. From Ski-Doo’s and quads, to a supercharged 1990 hatchback foxbody and a turbocharged small tire drag racer, Dustin likes to put mechanically inclined nature to work.
Dustin is passionate about making Eighty-Seven Motorsports your favorite place to bring your machine and/or vehicle.
